This project included the installation of a new elevator including a concrete block elevator shaft and machine room built in the interior atrium/cafeteria area of Corbin High School.
This approximately 5,000 square foot day care facility was built in the London-Laurel County Industrial Park. The wood frame with brick veneer building features class rooms and other ancillary spaces for a full service day care facility.
Roberts Construction has built a 5,000 square foot four classroom addition as well as a 6,000 square foot addition for a new entrance and administrative office complex at Nancy Elementary. Both projects utilized geothermal heating and cooling systems and building components to match the existing building.
This project featured the addition of a cooling tower and major heating and cooling modifications and updates to provide air conditioning to the gymnasiums and other associated ancillary spaces. The project also required renovation to the interior finishes of the schools’ music wings.
– Roberts Construction was pleased to be selected as an emergency action to perform extensive renovation and corrective work to the North wing of the school that was struck by a tornado.
- Roberts has also done a two story six classroom addition project as well as the addition of a cooling tower and major heating and cooling modifications and updates to provide air conditioning to the gymnasium and other associated ancillary spaces.
This project was a 6,500 square foot six classroom addition to the existing facility. This project utilized geothermal heating and cooling systems and building components to match the existing building.
One project at Pulaski High School was the construction of a structural concrete grandstand at the football complex. The project features fixed bleacher seating and stadium seating for approximately 800 people.
- The second project at the high school was an emergency structural and masonry veneer repair to the cafeteria.
[Cosmetology Renovation] This approximately 2,500 square foot project consisted of the renovation of existing campus space for the implementation of the space to be utilized for training the students in the field of cosmetology.
-[Stoner Hall Elevator] The project consisted of the removal of an existing elevator and the installation of a larger capacity elevator as well as structural and mechanical required for the new elevator.
-[Entrance and Parking Expansion] This project consisted of grading work and paving for a new 100 space parking lot as well as new walks and reconfiguration of the main entrance to the Somerset Campus.
-[Restroom/Entry Renovation] This approximately 1,500 square foot renovation project consisted of converting existing space into two new restrooms, a break room, and a new entry way.
Roberts Construction completed this approximately 20,000 square foot project consisting of the extensive demolition and renovation to the portion of the school built in 1963. The project included all new interior finishes as well as new heating and cooling systems and window and door replacement.
- Roberts also performed a refurbishing to the Somerset High School baseball facility. The scope of work included extensive structural and mechanical renovation to the stadium and the construction of a new concessions area, restrooms and a press box.
This gymnasium renovation consisted of the demolition of an existing stage area for reconfiguration as well as the installation of new telescoping bleachers and refurbishing of fixed seating in the gymnasium.
- Roberts also renovated the approximately 30,000 square foot portion of the school built in 1959, consisting of extensive demolition.
